You’ve booked your in/out window cleaning appointment with Bethany Associates and received your confirmation email. What next?
Two business days prior to your appointment, you’ll receive a reminder text and email that provides both an approximate arrival time and a picture and intro to your technician so you know who to expect.
How should I prepare for the cleaning?
Firstly, make sure you have at least one exterior water source available for the cleaning appointment. Secondly, please clear your windowsills and window area of any particularly delicate knick-knacks or vases.
The technicians will work around any furniture, window fixings, drapery, blinds, etc. Of course if there is something you would rather move yourself, please do so.
What happens when the technicians arrive?
The technicians will start by introducing themselves, reviewing the estimate, and answering any questions you may have. Afterwards, they’ll start on the cleaning! They’ll clean both sides of the glass, dust any screens, and give a quick wipe to the bottom sash and sill (for double/single-hung windows) to get up any obvious drips or dirt from the cleaning. We clean the interior windows by hand and use a purified water system for the exterior glass.
Once your windows are sparkling and the job is completed, the tech will request a signature and collect payment. Afterwards, you’ll receive a follow-up via email or text to review the service and make sure you’re happy with the job.
You’ll receive a reminder call and postcard when it’s time for your next cleaning. To keep your windows shining all year long, we recommend at least two services a year, in the spring and fall.
